I am Joanna Krotki-Borowicka, a medical trainer, psychologist and the founder of I LOVE FITNESS: women’s gyms based in Warsaw, Poland.
I have many years of experience as a personal trainer, fitness and stretching instructor and professional support when it comes to lifestyle changes.
As a trainer, I focus on a highly personalized approach to each person I work with. I am passionate about helping people feel better about their bodies. I believe that a healthy lifestyle is one that allows you to feel good in your skin and be able to enjoy life without putting restrictions and making you feel guilty about your choices.
What I value the most about my job is that I can help people to change harmful habits, teach them how to use their body as an efficient tool and most importantly, take care of their well-being and health.
I hope to empower my clients to feel good by finding a lifestyle that works long-term. In my free time I travel, dance, read books and spend time in the nature.
MY APPROACH
Despite supporting and motivating my clients, I attach great importance to technique and proper exercise performance as well as correct body posture. My approach to training is holistic - instead of exercising only individual muscles, we try to move the entire body.
I believe that comprehensive and varied training is key to a fit and healthy body, so I use a combination of methods depending on what you currently need and what is best for you. Over the years I have enriched my knowledge in various fields and in my practice I integrate elements of functional training, classical strength training, Pilates, yoga, mobility, stretching, and mindfulness, among others. I always take care of individually selected training, taking into account the medical history of a person, her/his health conditions, lifestyle, training goal and personal preferences.
The fitness industry is full of misinformation out there focused on body appearance only. This is why I am passionate to provide evidence-based and clear guidance to my clients that is free of unrealistic promises. I believe that physical activity should be a pleasure, and training, apart from having the proper effect on the body, can bring joy and help to feel better on a daily basis.
